There is a side story about Evelyn trying to find happiness as her interest in being a successful influencer wanes. This book was pretty much a flat out romance between Beckett and Evelyn. It involves the story that was hinted at in the first book between Beckett and Evelyn (the social media influencer that came out to the farm). This story starts the spring after the first book in the series ends.

It was still decent and I continue to enjoy the town of Inglewild. It also wasn’t as laugh-out-loud funny as the first book in the series.
